Maxime Bérubé, Ph.D.

Dr. Maxime Bérubé has been a regular professor in forensic science at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières since June 2020. His research interests focus on digital data processing, forensic imaging, investigation and intelligence, national security and violent extremism.

In addition to improving our understanding of criminal behaviour through the study of digital traces, his research aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of investigative practices when massive amounts of data are involved, as well as the management of digital data in the context of legal proceedings.
